A1 involves familiar expressions and basic exchanges with support. Try a greeting or a simple action from our songs; one successful phrase does not certify an overall level.
A2 includes simple routine exchanges about familiar matters. Extend a known song with a short question and personal answer rather than simply increasing playback speed.
No. A1 and A2 describe the intended practice. Billy’s House provides original songs and family activities, not an accredited course, placement test or complete CEFR syllabus.
Start with a visible action or repeated greeting. Demonstrate before requesting speech and choose one phrase; your learner does not need to understand the whole song immediately.
Ask for a new sentence about the familiar action: I can clap, but I can’t jump here. Connect the answer to your real setting.
If following the story and the action both feel frustrating, reduce the task to one word or choose a familiar song. Adjust the activity before adding more material.
They can supply enjoyable listening and vocabulary practice. They do not replace an exam syllabus; check the relevant provider’s requirements and practise the actual assessed skills separately.
Adapt the greeting, action or turn-taking game to your learners. Public access does not automatically grant copying, redistribution or public-performance rights; check the relevant permissions.
Record a small observation: followed high/low, greeted a toy, or asked for another turn. Look for use across situations rather than counting memorised songs alone.
