Clap comfortably high, then low while naming each position. Keep the movement within reach; the aim is understanding the contrast, not stretching further.
Stand beside your learner facing the same way and demonstrate. Opposite-facing video gestures can be confusing, so practise with real objects too.
Use your own spoken Move and Stop between familiar song sections. Keep the space clear and walking gentle; this is an added family game, not a claim about every lyric.
Yes. Try clapping, pointing or moving a toy. Choose actions comfortable for the participant instead of treating jumps or standing as required.
Count a small number of claps while showing the matching fingers or objects. Keep the number range manageable and connect each word with one action.
Choose two coloured objects after listening and ask for one by colour. This is extra vocabulary practice; check the original song before calling it a colour lesson.
Clap Your Hands! contrasts the two speeds. Demonstrate both gently, then let your learner choose; understanding the word matters more than copying the exact tempo.
Move a toy in and out of a box or near and far from a book. Use one contrast at a time alongside the official direction-song album.
Lower the energy with a quiet wave or a toy greeting, then sit for a short conversation. Choose the ending that works for your family rather than adding another video automatically.
